I missed my son’s events, time on the farm, and worst of all, I’d come home exhausted and still have to say, “We can’t afford that.”

I was barely staying ahead, watching my retirement shrink, and realizing I was on the same path as my dad—working hard his whole life only to find out retirement wasn’t enough.

That hit me hard. I knew something had to change.

I decided to build something different. It wasn’t overnight. It took time and consistency, but I refused to give up on my dream of being home and still providing for my family.

Now I’ve sold my truck, I’m home full-time, and my next goal is to retire my wife once we’re out of debt.
